Horizontal Rule – <hr>

The <hr>
element is used to add a thematic break between two topics in the HTML document. In the browser, it will likely show as a horizontal line. The reason why we say "likely" is that the role of the <hr>
tag is now more about providing semantics. When you want to use a horizontal line for design purposes, you should use CSS.
The <hr>
element is a void element. There is no end tag for this element.
This is an example of <hr>
.
